You never should or shouldn’t be doing anything. Because when it comes down to it nothing is a “should”. If you really question all these “shoulds” they all break down under the scrutinty of examination as you see that there is no proof you really “should” do anything. Sure, things have consequences, but who’s to say that one consequence is really better for you than another. Maybe one consequence would teach a harder lesson than another, but maybe that’s what you needed to learn.

We have no idea what should or shouldn’t happen. Just have gratitude for what you have. And for what is.
