empiricism vs theorism

It is only in seeing and doing something for yourself sometimes that you can understand it. Thinking about it alone doesn’t give you a complete, true view.

Having said that there is also something lacking from empirical views of things. Just because you havent empirically seen/ felt/ done something, doesnt mean that it’s impossible to see/ feel/ do, and doesn’t make it less true.

So in conclusion a sensibly balanced mixture of thinking / theorizing and empirically experiencing things for yourself is really the way to go.
